The primary challenge for the Wood Valley Homeowners' Association is to unite, consolidate, and maximize the influence and efforts of the residents of the Wood Valley Subdivision for the promotion and execution of civic, educational, and social measures so as to improve the quality of life and promote the welfare of its members (as stated in the bylaws).
In support of this challenge, the WVHOA has identified annual reoccurring sponsorship for entranceway beautification, community support, and holiday events. These activities are paid for through annual homeowner dues and are identified as follows:
- upkeep of the landscaping in and around the entranceways including shrubbery and flowers
- maintenance of common areas including mowing and reseeding
- support for neighborhood clubs including free publications in the monthly newsletter and neighborhood directory along with a reduced rate for the use of the Clubhouse at the Swim and Racquet Club for scheduled meetings
- support and funding for a monthly newsletter mailed or emailed to inform residents of upcoming neighborhood events and happenings
- upkeep and funding for this web site
- social events:
- Ice cream social at the Swim and Racquet Club - Summer Kickoff
- Easter Egg hunt
- 4th of July festivities and fireworks
- Halloween hot dog roast
- Christmas bonfire and Santa appearance
In order to continue to keep our annual homeowner dues low for the future and to provide service to all homeowners, we need every homeowner's contribution. Having an active Homeowners' Association in Wood Valley keeps the neighborhood at its best, therefore protecting and benefiting property values. Please help us to help you by providing your much needed annual contribution.
