Meeting started 7pm, chaired by Craig Wooster
Due to concerns with legal procedures around the bylaws proposal (citing NCGS-55A), the
vote on the proposed bylaws was postphoned by Craig Wooster (WVHOA President). A heated
discussion ensued.
A few key questions included:
- Q: Did the board approve the bylaws in content?
- A: The board approved the bylaws for distribution to the membership.
- Q: Was the board aware that the proposal needed to be distributed
via print copy?
- A: This became known in the past week.
- Q: What would happen if the vote went forward?
- A: <no answer>
Open discussion about by-laws and legal issues surrounding the vote continued
until 7:45.
Motion (Tony Correale) to vote on the by-laws and allow the next board to decide
what to do with them. Seconded.
