Playgroup

We run a variety of playgroups throughout the week for infants through preschoolers. We take turns in hosting playgroup in our homes or at local parks when the weather is good. We welcome any families in the neighborhood who'd like to participate. This is a great way to meet others in the neighborhood with small children.

Book Club

Meets the 4th Thursday morning of each month between September and June. Activities include presentation of current author and their works, followed by discussion. Diverse opinions are welcome.

Evening Book Club

Meets once per month in our homes from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Theresa Van Ollenfen.

Garden and Social Club

Wood Valley Garden and Social Club meetings are held at the Wood Valley Swim and Racquet Club and usually meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The Clubhouse rental calendar usually displays the date.

Gourmet Club

Meets in homes of club members 5 times per year for dinner, and at Christmas for a cocktail party. Club provides opportunities to enjoy gourmet cuisine while sharing responsibility of meal preparation.

Quarterly Ladies Club

This is a Club for empty nesters with activities and outings scheduled monthly.

Sew and So Club

If you find you have Tuesday afternoons free, we invite you to join us for 2 hours of so socializing while mending or sharing ideas, working at a craft etc. This is a perfect time to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of juice and visit with your neighbors at the same time. We usually meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 2:00pm. We'd love to have you join us.

Adult Tennis Social Club

Our Wood Valley community is showing a growing interest in the age old sport of tennis. We will hold a "Adult Tennis Social" mini-competition followed by lots of social (beverage induced) fun. This Fun and Tennis Social will occur the first Friday of each month. Mark your calendars and come and enjoy the competition. All homeowners are welcome to come and participate. Even if you aren't currently a member of the Swim and Racquet Club -- Come and have fun in the competition. Maybe you'll have enough fun you will wish to join the Swim and Racquet club.

Women's Club
