Google Groups announcement
The Wood Valley Board is pleased to announce a new Google Group for Wood Valley neighbors. The goal of the group is to provide a timely way to share information around the neighborhood such as lost/found pets. The group is available by invitation only so if you would like to be part of the Wood Valley Home Owners Association group, use the Contact Us link to make your request.
Garden Club April Meeting
The April meeting of the Wood Valley Garden Club will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:00 PM at the Clubhouse. This is our popular end-of-year meeting when we combine a potluck and plant sale. Members are encouraged to bring divisions of plants from their yard. These will be sold that evening at modest prices-usually $1-$3--to support Garden Club programs. Pot up your plants and add a tag with as much information as you can: the name of the plant and culture requirements of you know them, otherwise anything helpful (such as "sun perennial with yellow flowers in the spring"). We would welcome any Wood Valley resident to join us that evening. It's a great way to get some plant starts which should thrive in Wood Valley! Bring food item for our potluck to start the evening and at least three plants for the sale. If you have any questions, please call Lynn Swanson at 846-0526 or Misty Brazelton at 847-5668.
Also, the Wood Valley Garden Club will be hosting a neighborhood Garden Walk on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The rain date is planning for May 20th. More details regarding house addresses to follow.
